Kirklands credit card
kirkland's decide to close the account because they was with GE Money Bank and they decide they wanted to have Wells fargo Financial Bank handle the account . Instead of switching all the customer over to wells fargo they just close the account and wants customer to repply under the new bank and have two account one clse account they they are playing on and a new account with wells fargo well that not happen here when i pay Kirkland off I will say goodbye kirkland and never shop there again because i Feel that that was just the wrong thing to do to customer to keep the account open until Dec 2011 so customer could shop and then they clse the account what a ripe off. I will take my business to pierOne unless kirkland decided to make a change to what they have done to customers

i bet you didn't graduate high school, can you read?
Notification WAS sent to all credit card holders. They were notified multiple times through their credit card statement, through e-mail, social media and for at least 6 months in advance at all Kirkland stores.
Legally, Kirklands cannot switch card holders to a different bank without customer consent. In addition, as with ANY credit card, customers must fill out an application in order to be approved for credit in any financial institution. Different bank = different interest rates, rules, obligations requirements. I don't know about you, but I would be PISSED if someone switched me over to Wells Fargo without my approval.
(I hate WF) Lesson learned? READ all of your mail associated with your credit card statements!
And perhaps shop more than once every 2 years in the store where you hold a credit card. 8)
A letter was sent to customers letting them know the accounts would be closed. They did not start with another bank until over a year later.
You can't just change over to another bank. They have to approve your credit. Maybe you need to learn how banks work before being pissed. The bank they left started charging a monthly fee plus your interest.
Would you rather pay twice to have a credit card? :x
